Welcome to Italy - WELCOME to Olbia

Upon arrival in Olbia, we'll transfer to our hotel, where you'll have time to relax and settle in. Then you'll meet our expert guides, for your personalized bike fitting on your premium Hersh carbon bicycle.

We'll enjoy a short warm-up ride before relaxing on the terrace with breathtaking views.

Sardinia is famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic granite coastlines, and quiet roads that hug the sea—making it one of Europe's finest cycling destinations.

WE ARE SUGGESTING TO TAKE A DIRECT FLIGHT TO OLBIA-SARDINIA FROM NY-JFK SEPTEMBER 18 TO ARRIVE IN OLBIA SARDINIA IN THE MORNING OF THE 19th.  

There are also many direct flights from Milan Malpensa, and other European Airports to Olbia, Sardinia.

September 20‍ ‍PORTO Cervo • Costa Smeralda • Palau

Today's ride takes us through the legendary Costa Smeralda, one of the world's most exclusive coastal destinations.

Starting near San Pantaleo, we'll cycle through Golfo Aranci, Porto Cervo, Baja Sardinia, and the spectacular Emerald Coast. Discovered by Prince Karim Aga Khan in the early 1970s, this region has become the Mediterranean playground of the international jet set.

Expect stunning ocean views, elegant marinas, pristine beaches, and unforgettable roads.

Ride: 40-48 miles
Elevation Gain: Approximately 1,500 feet

Palau Santa Teresa di Gallura

Today's ride follows one of the most scenic coastal roads in the Mediterranean. Leaving Palau, we'll pedal along Sardinia's rugged Gallura coastline, where gentle climbs reward us with spectacular views across the Strait of Bonifacio toward the cliffs of Corsica.

Our destination is Santa Teresa Gallura, Sardinia's northernmost town. As we crest the final hill, the historic Torre di Longonsardo, an 18th-century Spanish watchtower, comes into view overlooking the sea.

We'll enjoy time to stroll through the lively piazza, relax with an espresso or gelato, and soak up the charm of this beautiful seaside village before returning to Palau.

Ride: 32–45. miles Elevation Gain: Approximately 1,100 feet

Ride one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular coastlines on an unforgettable 7-day cycling adventure. Guided by local experts, you'll explore the emerald waters of the Costa Smeralda, the dramatic granite landscapes of Gallura, the enchanting islands of La Maddalena, and the timeless beauty of Lake Como.

The Island of Maddalena CAPRERA

After breakfast, we'll board the ferry from Palau to the breathtaking island of La Maddalena, the heart of a protected national park celebrated for its crystal-clear waters, white granite formations, and unspoiled Mediterranean beauty.

We'll cycle the island's spectacular coastal roads before crossing the bridge to Caprera, home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the hero who unified Italy. His house, farm, and tomb are preserved as a museum, making Caprera a place of national pilgrimage and historical importance.

We'll visit the island's panoramic viewpoints and enjoy some of the most unforgettable scenery in Sardinia before returning by ferry to our hotel.

Private Boat Tour of the La Maddalena Archipelago

Today we’ll board a private boat and discover one of the Mediterranean's greatest natural treasures—the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park.

Cruise among seven enchanting islands and dozens of secluded islets, where emerald waters, sculpted granite cliffs, hidden coves, and pristine white-sand beaches create an unforgettable paradise. We'll visit some of the archipelago's most celebrated locations, including Spargi, Budelli (home of the famous Pink Beach), Santa Maria, and Razzoli, with opportunities to swim, snorkel, relax, and simply enjoy one of Italy's most spectacular coastal landscapes.

This is a day dedicated to experiencing the beauty of Sardinia from the sea.

There will be an alternative option to ride the bike for those who prefer get some more mileage in this tour.

september 24‍ ‍San Pantaleo • Capo Figari or Sardinia to Lake Como

For those flying directly from NYC this would be the last, perhaps the most memorable ride from San Pantaleo to Capo Figaro riding past Spiaggia Bianca, the exclusive Golfo Aranci town with some of the premier beaches Sardinia has to offer.

Ride: 38-40 miles      Elevation Gain: Approximately 3,630 feet

We’ll celebrate and enjoy this last day with a memorable farewell dinner overlooking the Sardinia bay

For those flying back early morning to Milan, we’ll arrange transportation to Olbia for your return flight from Milan-Malpensa to home. However, in the afternoon, we'll enjoy one final ride through one of Italy's most iconic cycling destinations, Lake Como.

Quiet lakeside roads, charming villages, historic villas, and spectacular mountain scenery combine to create the perfect finale to our Italian adventure.

After our ride, we'll celebrate together with a memorable farewell dinner overlooking the Lake Como.

After breakfast, transportation will provided to Olbia Airport – or – we’ll take you to Milan Malpensa Airport for your flight home.
